It is critically important that the therapist and client have a clear and transparent understanding of our policies and Procedures and that they stand as stated. As a new client you will be asked to fill out, print, signature and date our intake/client consent form prior to your session.
Balance In Life Massage operates by appointment only! You can call to book your appointment. If you do not get an answer feel free to leave us a voicemail and you can text as well, we will be sure to get back with you as soon as possible. Lastly, you are able to leave us an e-mail through our website. Either way, we look forward to hearing from you.
We ask that you cancel your appointment in advance by 24 hours. If unable to do so we do understand some situations are out of your control. Being said, if your appointment cannot be cancelled in advance we honor one cancellation with short notice. Two at most dependent on the circumstance. Afterwards you will be charged s $25 cancellation fee before we can book your next appointment.
We suggest that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to your session so that you may fill out the required paperwork to be on the table at your scheduled time. If your appointment is to start at 4:00 o'clock arrive late for your 60 minute appointment your session will still end at 5:00. We will do our portion and make an attempt to contact you three to five minutes into your scheduled start time. In respect of your time, if the massage therapist is late you will still be given your 60 minute session. If time would be s factor, your session will be discounted to accommodate our negligence.
If you are feeling sick we ask that you cancel your appointment in due time (24 hours preferably) or as soon as detected if less than 24 hours.
Gift Certificates are redeemable for 1 year after the date of purchase. If your gift certificate expires after the date you will be responsible to pay for half of the standard rate to redeem gift certificate. Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
Massage therapist are not capable of diagnosing medical conditions as our therapist are trained ONLY to us manual manipulation of the soft tissues to normalize and enhance one's bodily functions. If our therapist feels at anytime throughout your session that he/she is uncomfortable they have the right to stop treatment, as it tis your right to do the same.
We are licensed professional whom love what we do to provide healing and relaxation so here are a few guidelines to respect our therapist as we will respect you.
*The client can leave on or remove as many articles of clothing as needed to be comfortable.
*The client will get draped throughout the entire session.
*The breast, pubic and genital area will NOT be massaged under any circumstances.
*Sexual interaction or discussion between the client and therapist is never appropriate and request for sexual activity will NOT be tolerated.
